EDM Machining / EDM

EDM: machining complex shapes in the hardest materials

EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), also known as électroérosion, is a thermal machining method capable of working materials that are notoriously difficult to machine such as hardened steel, titanium or very hard alloys. This process relies on successive sparks generated between an electrode and the workpiece, both conductive, enabling localised erosion without direct mechanical contact.
